THE HEADS OF SAB
Jessica Hamilton, PhD
Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at Rutgers University
Dr. Jessica Hamilton is an Assistant Professor at Rutgers University in the Department of Psychology. She graduated with a BA in psychology and history from Swarthmore College before completing her PhD in clinical psychology at Temple University and a postdoctoral fellowship in sleep medicine at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Hamilton is the director of The Hamilton Lab at Rutgers, where she leads a team of undergraduate and graduate students to better understand the role of social media and sleep as risk and protective factors for teen depression and self-harm. Dr. Hamilton is passionate about working with young people to make mental health information more accessible. She is thrilled to be working with the motivated and talented student team at MentalHealthIO.
Lindsey Bruett, PhD
Assistant Professor at the University of California, San Francisco
Dr. Lindsey Bruett (she/her) is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). She completed her Ph.D. in clinical psychology, with an emphasis in developmental psychopathology, from Temple University, and B.A. in psychology from Bowdoin College. She completed her predoctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford University. She has extensive experience in the assessment and treatment of adolescents and young adults with eating disorders, depression, anxiety, and trauma, and providing parent-related interventions. She has a special interest in working with gender-diverse populations. Dr. Bruett is committed to the dissemination of evidence-based practices through the training and supervision of psychology and psychiatry trainees in individual and group therapy. She leads the Eating Disorders Program at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center and is a faculty member of the Eating Disorders Program at UCSF. She is excited to be working with the smart and energetic team at MentalHealthIO.
